Position Overview:
Valet Car Wash is looking for a full time Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Millwright) to work at our busy Brantford, Cambridge, Guelph South and Kitchener locations.

What you will be doing:
- Performing routine maintenance on car wash conveyor systems, site production systems and site equipment.
- Working on pneumatic and hydraulic machinery and systems.
- Performing quality control inspections including testing and inspecting the systems and mechanical equipment to ensure all machinery is operating efficiently while meeting all safety and productivity standards.
- Troubleshooting to determine the cause of mechanical operational errors and make the required repairs.
- Determining parts that need repair or replacement and communicating with the site manager to ensure the proper parts are ordered.
- Installing equipment, maintaining, and replacing parts at the site as required.
- Communicating with site contractors when required.
- Working closely with and communicating with the regional and site managers.
- Providing daily communications to the management team.
- Meeting safety and performance standards.
- Following instructions provided in maintenance manuals, reading diagrams, blueprints and specifications.
- Maintaining up to date maintenance logs
- Ensuring maintenance procedure books are updated with current changes
- Working at 4 site locations
What we are looking for:
- Mechanical Maintenance (Millwright) experience required
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, and willing to learn and develop in the role
- Available for early morning, weekend or evening repairs as required
- Self starter who is good with time management
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with flexible and on call hours
- Critical thinker with good problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with online and in person training
- Punctual and reliable
- Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and moving with a full range of motion
- Comfortable working outdoors and in noisy, hot, cold, and wet conditions
- Values learning new skills and staying productive
- Confident reading and following installation instructions and reading specifications
- Good arithmetic skills and confident with measurements
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently
- Must provide your own tools
- Company Work Vehicle will be provided
- 4 years of maintenance work experience required
- Millwright certification required

Pay Range: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
